Youth, Ukraine, Europe: Coming Of Age During War

Council of Europe

As the war of aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine continues, Ukrainian young men and women are sacrificing their well-being, health and their lives in order to protect Ukraine, democracy and human rights in Europe.

How European youth policy can adapt to the current realities, support young Ukrainians and address their key needs and challenges during and after the war is the theme of a side event of the Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) winter session. "Youth, Ukraine, Europe: Coming of age during war. How can European youth policy adapt?" will take place on 29 January at the Council of Europe's headquarters in Strasbourg. The opening remarks will be delivered by Yevheniia KRAVCHUK, Chairperson of the PACE Sub-Committee on Youth and the Society of the Future and Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Matjaž GRUDEN, Director of the Council of Europe's Directorate for Democracy.
